Regional Queensland has a limited number of electricity retailers, so you simply need to choose between Ergon Energy and Origin Energy.

Part of Rockhampton Regional Council, Fitzroy River Water keeps your taps flowing with clean and safe drinking water. Drawing water from the tidal Fitzroy River means Rockhampton doesn’t rely on rainfall or dams, so water security is guaranteed.

If you’re relocating from interstate, one of your first interactions on arriving in Rockhampton will likely be with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), which manages driver licences and car registrations in Queensland.

Centrelink services are also available for those who require them.
