It’s easy to fly internationally from Rockhampton Airport! When you book your international travel on a single ticket, you can drop your bags at our check-in counters and head straight through to the departure lounge for your flight to Brisbane. Your bags will likely be checked all the way through to your final destination – whether that’s Auckland, London, Los Angeles or anywhere else you can think of!

Upon arrival in Brisbane, you’ll catch the free shuttle bus outside the domestic terminal to the international building a short distance away. Depending on your airline, you’ll make a quick stop at check-in or proceed straight through security and immigration.

Inside the terminal you can indulge in some duty-free shopping, grab something to eat or drink and relax until it’s time to head to your destination.

Getting to Rockhampton Airport

Parking

Enjoy convenient parking in the airport’s short, mid and long term parking areas or the covered carpark. These parking areas are well signed and are a simple stroll from the terminal building, with shaded walkways to protect you from the elements.

Pick-ups and Drop-offs

To drop-off or pick-up friends and family, simply head into the short term parking area. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, so you can head into the terminal to greet your loved ones. Fees beyond that time are reasonable, and you are welcome to head into the terminal to enjoy a coffee while your friends or family wait for their flight to depart.

Public Transport, Transfers, Taxis and Rideshare

Taxis, rideshare services, private transfers and shuttle buses all depart from outside the terminal building. You can also hire cars, vans and trucks from a variety of operators inside the terminal.
