What is the SmartHub?

Recognising that the startup businesses of today will be the employers of tomorrow, Rockhampton Regional Council has established a SmartHub to provide support and assistance to startups, entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The SmartHub, an initiative of Council’s Smart Way Forward Strategy provides an affordable co-working space where members can collaborate with others, learn and grow from the sense of community plus have access to a variety of programs and events that will take an idea to the next level.

If you are currently operating a fledgling business or looking to commence a venture, the SmartHub could be the perfect space to launch your business from.

For more information about the SmartHub contact 4936 8444, email smarthub@rrc.qld.gov.au or visit the SmartHub Rockhampton at Customs House - 208 Quay Street.

How can Advance Rockhampton help me?

Rockhampton Regional Council is leading the push to develop our region through the initiatives of Advance Rockhampton. The Advance Rockhampton Economic Action Plan 2016-2020 outlines how this will be achieved.

The Rockhampton Region Economic Development Strategy provides the framework for the growth and prosperity of the local business and residential community.  This strategy is the product of extensive engagement and analytical understanding of the region.  It is structured and formulated by Rockhampton Regional Council and incorporates the effort, skills and knowledge of local government, key State and Commonwealth Government agencies and business, community and not-for-profit sectors.
